Based in New York, Nature Zone released the dance single 'Porcupine' on the London Records imprint in 1976.

Steve Feldman and Tom Dawes wrote, produced and arranged the song, whilst Tom was solely responsible for the string arrangements.
Valerie Simpson (of Ashford & Simpson fame) and Steve Feldman sang the vocals section.
'Porcupine' became a hit on the European and Stateside dancefloors.
Steve went on to record a couple of further singles under the Nature Zone name, which were released the same year, which included 'Nobody Can Love Me (Like You Do).
